01:58:04
Before it was a Secret. Shhhhh.
James Grimes
01:58:23
I know it was due in December, is it ever to late to file intent to operate. I still need to file.
James Grimes
01:59:09
I just took this over in November for the Council I moved to.
ANDREA WATSON
01:59:49
@James Grimes - Send an email to Brian Gray and we can help you throught the process
Laura Enge
02:00:51

Adam Wehrman
02:00:57
FA 710
Brian Gray
02:00:59

Laura Enge
02:01:02
thank you
Thomas Geary
02:01:05
710 Laura - hope you are well!
Walter Lester
02:01:06

Chadd Blanchard
02:01:42
710/711
Brian Lamirande
02:01:44
711
Brian Gray
02:02:01
FA710 is the standard that has a replacement page posted on the NCAP website
ANDREA WATSON
02:02:03
710 for the garbage single page, 711 for golf carts
Jason Flannery
02:02:08
For atv do you have to do that training and the ATV instructor course as well
Pete Simpson
02:02:11
Any chance that we can access a recording of this webinar?
Matthew Reineck
02:02:37
yes, webinar recording will be available

Pete Simpson
02:04:10
Thank you.
Henry Goodson
02:04:33
Highlight the Changes so we can easily find them Please!!
charles kinsky
02:05:12
Is it possible in the NCAP updates to have what the actual update is rather than just a date saying the standard was updated. It is alot to read and would make it easier for us to know what is changing.
James Barton
02:05:28
Will you share the code for the training mentioned for Outdoor Adventure Learning
Brian Gray
02:05:33
For ATV training your instructor has to attend a week long training certifying them. Of course if they drive a UTV the will also have to take the UTV course
Samantha Lowery
02:06:04
https://rohva.org/
Brian Gray
02:06:13
The NCAP Training will be on the resources that we will announce later
Chris Ambra
02:06:13
Does a Camp Ranger have to take this online course for his ATV usage (maintenance only)?
erivera
02:06:29
does this apply to OA events?
Richard Stockton
02:06:32
Is this UTV instructor course a week long?
Brian Gray
02:07:12
UTV for 2020 is a short training online
Samantha Lowery
02:07:26
FA- 711-states this on ATV: ATVs may be used by maintenance personnel or other staff on campproperty when the operator is 18 years of age or older and hascompleted an All-Terrain Vehicle Safety Institute (ASI) safety trainingprogram in its entirety. No deviation is permitted from the courseoutline in the safe operation of the vehicle. Proper personal protectionequipment is used at all times during ATV operation by staff. Nopassengers are allowed.
Richard Stockton
02:07:34
Short Term Camp is a District Camporee a Short Term Camp?
Aaron Vikemyr
02:08:32
NYLT? Wood Badge?
Henry Goodson
02:08:55
Will the OA be adopting the new definition of Long Term Camping as a joining requirement or will there be 2 definitions?
Todd McDonald
02:09:12
Thank you for this training.
Brian Gray
02:09:29
wow this huge! Long over due!
Todd McDonald
02:09:35
Easy to administrator
Kevin Shea
02:09:35
So, would each of these short term camps (camporees, etc) require additional/separate intents to operate?
ANDREA WATSON
02:09:51
@Henry - we are working with the OA natinoally to help make sure that all questions are answered
Sherry Haywood
02:10:29
If we have a camp that is rented to other groups do we need to meet the short-term camp standards?
Samantha Lowery
02:10:33
so anyone in charge of a “short term camp” will need to do the new Short Term Camp Administrator- online “NCS” training?
Richard Stockton
02:10:56
We have to assess a camporee? - REALLY
Judith Alvarado
02:11:02
Can one person be the holder of all the overnight camps administration?
Tom James
02:11:03
So do we need to have a Council team visit every event that will be considered short-term??
Rodney Henk
02:11:05
I think our Council will need to hire someone just to handle the all this paperwork for MBUs, Cub overnighters etc.
Tylene Byrd
02:12:25
If NYLT is 6 nights, that would be classified as a long term, this would mean that council would require that adults attend NCS to be "director/ pd" ? Am I understanding this right?
ANDREA WATSON
02:13:17
@Tylene Byrd - we are workign with Scouting U to develop the implentation plan for NYLT and Woodbadge
Samantha Lowery
02:13:59
Will there need to be a “NCAP Book”(how one fulfills each standard) for each of these Short Term camp events?
Alan Keiger
02:14:26
Keep in mind that WB and NYLT directors already have to have been to a director's training. Where will this fall in the NCAP process?
william cover
02:14:32
WIll we then be able to count all short term camps in the camping report?
Rodney Henk
02:14:47
NCAP as important as it is, requires many man hours to prepare all the required paperwork - we are super understaffed as it is - this is going to be a challenge but I'm sure we'll figure it out to do this for every event that happens. Just very scary at this point, as a DE for two districts and a resident camp director, adding an assessment to every event in my two districts is going to be rough!
Joshua Trivett
02:14:56
Good question Alan!
Alan Keiger
02:15:05
hey josh!
Todd McDonald
02:15:28
Back to intent. Does a long term camp have to have two intent to operates? Property and Long term?
Matt Keck
02:16:12
We appreciate the transparency and advanced notice on these topics!
Dave Srebro
02:16:21
Is there a single document that outlines all the 2020 NCAP changes similarly to the way the "circulars" did in the past?
Brian Gray
02:16:25
Yes - the property needs an intent to operate and the program, or programs if you have numerous would need the intents filed
Samantha Lowery
02:16:27
@Todd Yes two intent to operate must be filed
Rodney Henk
02:16:50
Agree with Matt - I do like the heads up! we have time to prepare:)
Todd McDonald
02:16:55
