To answer the Brown Sea Island questions: It is offered all day every day for the whole week. They will have the opportunity to participate in activities throughout the week, aquatics requirements will be completed at the waterfront. Here is the link to the schedule. https://44qx633l2wnm2ire6p28zc8u-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/04/Brownsea-Island-Program-Schedule.pdf

01:40:13
Thanks for dealing with a fluid situation. Understood that deadline for roster is 4/30. given the uncertainty, will that be deadline for final payment also?
CR
01:40:19
The Schedule shows WW MB on Wednesday.... that contradicts the schedule
sannadal
01:41:02
Is there a place to stay if troop arrives 1 day early? Cost?
Michael Astfalk
01:41:23
Will Brownsea Island participants be able to take any merit badges?
CR
01:41:39
WWMB on Wednesday or Friday according to the scheudle
Ryan Jackson - POLS Director
01:41:42
Hey Jeremy! As of now, there is no plan to dish out extra camping equipment, but we will reassess the situation as we get closer and follow guidelines from the CDC and our SBR Safety Department. This is a good point, however, and we will make it a consideration if the need arises; it's worth it to note that extra camping equipment can be requested at no extra charge.
sicree
01:41:47
What is the go/no go date? Final decision day
T 1882
01:41:54

rickpatri
01:42:30
What is the go/no go date?
Program Director - Alex Moulvi
01:43:11
No, brownsea island scouts will not be able to participate in merit badges, the intention is for them to be working on rank advancement over MB advancement.
Ryan Jackson - POLS Director
01:43:16
Hey Sannadal! There is an extra charge, but arriving a day early is certainly something we can accommodate.
Josh Cottrell
01:43:18
When will camperships be decided
Chris Goodwin
01:43:55
Brownsea scouts can do any MB offered after dinner, right?
Ryan Jackson - POLS Director
01:43:56

01:44:59
Yes, Brownsea scouts can participate in evening programs and merit badges
Chris Fox
01:46:48
Sorry, the link opens to the sheet, the "link" in the right hand column is what doesn't work.
Dave Hart
01:47:16
Where is the black pug link/software?
ejfarrar
01:48:12
Looking at the merit badge schedule, it appears as though Kayaking MB is an all day merit badge as opposed to last years schedule that was two morning sessions or two afternoon sessions. Is that correct?
Bruce H
01:48:24
So, do you need to have completed thr
user
01:49:25
are the age and rank requirements set in stone?
Bruce H
01:49:55
Do you need to have previously earned to Kayak MB to participate in the full day whitewater?
John Staz
01:52:17
Do you provide a form for our roster or do we just submit scout & adult names?
Program Director - Alex Moulvi
01:52:32
Yes. A requirement of the White water MB is to have Kayaking Merit Badge. You can complete this while you are here at camp, which is why we have it set up to run two separate times: Wednesday and Friday, working around our offerings of the Kayaking MB
Heather Barnett
01:53:18
can you provide a list of merit badges that have hard limits such as archery
CR
01:54:49
If you aren't going to offer swimming merit badge to the brownsea scouts, are you at least going to offer the opportunity to complete the requirements for 2nd class and 1st class that involve things covered in swimming, e.g., 2nd class 5c. Demonstrate water rescue methods by reaching with your arm orleg, by reaching with a suitable object, and by throwing lines and objects
T 1882
01:56:11
How late can we add people?
Chris Fox
01:56:16
I can open the sheet showing all the MB's, but the link in the requirements column doesn't work.
Josh Cottrell
01:56:44
can we provide the print out from national wes site for the YP proof?
CR
01:56:49
That wouldn't work at the dining hall
sannadal
01:58:03
What is the day early fee?
Troop 889
01:58:03
There was no way to indicate on the registration for the extra day. So our current balance due doesn't reflect this.
Robert Singleton
01:58:09
For those driving a long day back Sat. Can we buy sack lunch for the road? cost?
April Wathen
02:00:32
Is Whitewater FULL day? I seem to recall it was.
Joel Walton
02:00:33
Can you confirm your email that we do not have to have Wilderness First Aid for JCJ Summer Camp. Only for High Adventure?
Heather Barnett
02:04:34
given the change in schedules, is it possible to shift from a later to an earlier week session
CR
02:10:33
The Black Pug advancement can be imported into Scoutbook is my recollection, so it makes the rank advancement tracking easy, but what can be a challenge is you don't have a record of the counselor if not filled out fully like a blue card. It's a shift away from the traditional method as well showing all your blue cards come Eagle review time.
Robert Singleton
02:15:04
we have 100 people coming so stopping at a restaurant is a pain! That is why we asked about the sack lunchs!
Program Director - Alex Moulvi
02:15:23
